PMCE has been a remote worker company since it was formed. HQ has a spare desk just in case, though.
We have always designed straight into software, (except that one weird place where they still had drawing boards).
Our experience spans the full life-cycle of a construction project. On design teams and as Contractor.
Our culture is one of learning and being adaptable, but not at the cost of our professional independence, or the organisational processes necessitated by our structure

PETER McELROY CEng MCIBSE
DIRECTOR
Peter McElroy is a chartered building services engineer. He has been serving clients in the construction industry since 2014. After graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BEng (hons), he then completed his post graduate studies in 2017 and was awarded an MSc in Building Services Engineering.
Working within some world leading design consultancies, Peter was given the opportunity to work on major global projects across a broad range of market sectors. Consulting only ever tells one side of the story and Peter's desire to immerse himself in the industry, led to a design role in an M&E specialist contractor, giving himself a wide angled view of Building Services Engineering projects from multiple perspectives.
Taking the experiences gained through designing for a broad cross-section of organisations within the Built Environment, Peter followed his ambition to provide consulting services for clients in a way that cannot be replicated in large organisations.
Delivering projects in a sustainable, smart, cost-effective and client-centric way; together we can grow as people and businesses, whilst serving the communities in which we are engaged.
Peter lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.
